Dr. Prem Adhikari, current elected President of Nepalese Society of Texas, spoke at the Fourth Regional NRN Conference in Houston, Texas on May 29, 2010. The video below has the speech he gave at the event where he talked about issues related to NRNs, NST and its activities in DFW area and formation of SARC for collecting Student Fund to help Nepali students in various colleges and universities at times of emergencies.

He has his Master of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Miami University, Oxford, OH and Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has a Bachelor in Science from Amrit Science Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal. Dr. Adhikari is currently working as a professor of chemistry at East field College in Dallas, Texas. He was awarded – Academic enrichment scholarship, University of North Texas, The William Hale Charch Graduate Fellowship, Miami University, King Tribhuvan Fellowship, Tribhuvan University. He has a professional society affiliations with Society of Toxicology, Association of Scientists in Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), American Chemical Society, and Association of Bio-molecular Research Forum (ABRF), Nepal Chemical Society. Dr. Adhikari is fully involved in various community involvement such as president of Nepalese Society of Texas (NST), coordination of Meeting & Organization committee (MOC), Nepalese Cultural & Spiritual Society (NCSC), Begnas environmental club of Kaskee, Nepal.
